CASE STUDY

Sauk Prairie High School – Prairie du Sac, WI

The Sauk Prairie High School Aquatic Center, in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin was the first project
for the Concrete Sciences Aquatics team that was contracted by an architectural firm. It was a
two-phase project that covered 8,000 square feet including pool, diving pool, and locker room
contracted to Kraemer Construction. The work took 3 weeks to finish.

The client required a high level of technical expertise to bring their exacting aesthetic
requirements to life. The goal was a traditional subway tile look with the slip resistance of an
acrylic. To get there, we used a cement overlay with a tile pattern created with 3/8” grout tape
and colored with a patterned light grey and charcoal combination.

Really a great product, very versatile and easy to use. But above all thanks to the technical assistance that responded quickly and competently to all our questions. Absolutely recommended.
