A long-time concrete client, Aqua Tots, previously had an epoxy and flake coating applied to their pool deck. While this system is generally effective, it is not ideal for areas with heavy water exposure.
To address this, we used PCD diamonds to remove all epoxy and flake from the deck while completely covering the pool with poly sheeting to prevent water contamination of the water. We then repaired all damage, ensured the drain height and our material was at a consistent pitch, and applied a knockdown system with two coats of a colored sealer to achieve their vision for a warm deck color.
